What do buyers ask first?

Are ISP proxies the same as static residential proxies?

Yes, the two names describe the same product on most of the market: an IPv4 address registered to a consumer internet provider, hosted on a server in a datacenter, and kept fixed during the rental. SteadyProxy says it plainly, because the IP is not a home device. Read the full explanation.

How long do I keep the same IP?

For the whole 30-day rental: the IP does not rotate. Renewal is manual, from your balance, before the end date. Keeping the same IP after the end date is not guaranteed, so renew on time and check your IP list after renewing. If you need a new IP on every connection instead, a rotating residential proxy is the right tool; this comparison shows when each one fits.

Can I choose the city or the ISP?

A city can be chosen only when the checkout lists it; otherwise the IP is allocated in the country you pick. A specific ISP or ASN can be ordered only when the checkout lists it; check the registered network of each IP after delivery. The city pages explain how city geolocation works for static IPs and how to check it after delivery.

What can I use a static IP for?

Business accounts you own or manage for clients, one stable IP each; B2B services that only accept an allowlisted IP; local price, ad and search checks; QA from another country. Banking, government, payment and ticketing sites are blocked. Use cases.
